  Very disappointed this year. While we were looking for a tree, we noticed a lot of green paint residue. They clearly are painting their trees to make them look healthier. We bought a six and a half foot tree, did everything by the book (including tree food), and our tree was dead in 3 days. They also tried to charge us for a 7-foot tree, even though we know we measured it at just under six and a half feet after we cut it down. Then they acted like we were lying when we mentioned this error on the receipt, and made us wait 30 minutes so they could re-measure and process a partial refund. Also they now charge for everything, even to grind the corn, which used to be free. It's a cute Farm and a fun concept, but I feel like they've started to get greedy and less customer-oriented. We wanted to make this a tradition for our family and after a few years of going here, we won't return.
